The nuisance caused by monkeys is increasing in Tundla of Suhagnagari Firozabad. Hardly a day passes when monkeys do not attack someone. A week ago, a woman who was going to get her son’s dressing done and a student returning home from school with his mother were attacked and injured by monkeys. People nearby saved them from the monkeys.
Ujjwal Gupta, son of Romit Gupta, resident of Bandar Wali Gali Chowk on Sanwale Prasad Road, was attacked by monkeys a week ago while returning home from school with his mother Alka Gupta. In this attack, the monkey tore away the flesh from Ujjwal’s leg.
On Friday evening around 7:30 pm, Alka Gupta was taking her son Ujjwal to the doctor’s clinic for dressing. As soon as she left her street and reached Sanwale Prasad Road, a group of monkeys attacked her. She was seriously injured in the attack. People came to her rescue after hearing her screams. Alka Gupta was injured.
Here, monkeys also attacked Kartik, an eight-year-old student of Banna Road. He was going home with his mother Meena from Lord Bishop Convent School located behind the police station after school was over on Friday afternoon. As soon as he reached near Prasad Cinema, the monkeys attacked him and injured him. Meanwhile, his mother somehow saved him from the monkeys. The attacks of monkeys happening every day in the city have become a danger for the people. The city dwellers have demanded to get rid of the problem of monkeys.
